StormTracker8: Increasing clouds tonight; rainy day on Sunday

Richmond, Va (WRIC) -- Central Virginia is in for a rainy day all around on Sunday. Details below.

Tonight’s forecast for this Saturday night calls for increasing clouds leading to mostly cloudy skies and chilly temperatures, getting down into the middle 30s to the upper 30s.

Tomorrow’s forecast for our Sunday calls for mostly cloudy skies, rainy conditions all day, especially during the afternoon and the evening hours and cool temperatures, only rising into the 40s.

Tomorrow night into Monday morning, calls for mostly cloudy skies, rainy conditions ongoing transitioning over to lingering showers by Monday morning, and chilly temperatures, getting down into the middle 30s.

When it's all set and done, we could be looking at a half inch to 2 inches of very beneficial rainfall, from Sunday morning through Monday morning.

Monday is President’s Day, and we will see partly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures, rising to around 50 degrees.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday of next work week, I put “Mild” on all these days, as we will be enjoying 60 to 65 degrees during each of these afternoons next week! There’s a low chance for a shower or two on Tuesday and Thursday, and a better chance for showers on Friday of next work week.

Finally, next weekend, we will see the return of much more seasonable temperatures, back in the 50s.
