StormTracker8: Late day high to end the weekend; Rain chances Monday
RICHMOND, Va (WRIC) — Temperatures this morning will start off cool in the 30s. There will be a slow warming throughout the day today. By this afternoon Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s. We will likely reach our high temperature near 50 late in the day today.
A warm front will be passing through today causing temperatures to warm overnight into Monday. A cold front will follow closely behind on Monday, bringing isolated showers along with it. It will be a mild day on Monday with highs in the mid 60s.


Following the cold front we will have cold and windy conditions to finish off the day on Monday. Lows to start off Tuesday morning will drop into the mid 20s and highs that day will be near 40.
Chilly temperatures will stick around for New Year's Eve with highs in the mid 40s under partly sunny skies. You will want your coat for any Wednesday night plans as it will dip down into the upper 20s as we count down to 2026.
New Year's Day will be cool with highs in the upper 40s. Partly to mostly sunny conditions will be around to welcome in the New Year.
Another cold front will move into the area Thursday night and bring slight cooling for Friday to kick off the weekend. Temperatures Friday and Saturday will be in the mid 40s.
There are some isolated rain chances for Saturday night into Sunday allowing for some warming to end our weekend back in the low 50s.
