RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Today will be cooler and cloudier than this past weekend. Highs today will be in the upper 70s, and skies will be mostly cloudy.
Late tonight, rain chances will begin, thanks to a weather system along the coastline. Lows overnight will be in the low 60s, and highs tomorrow will only be in the upper 60s.
Tomorrow will be the best day for rain. It will be dreary, with mostly cloudy to overcast skies and scattered showers and downpours. Isolated thunderstorms are possible. Wednesday rain chances will be slightly lower, between isolated and scattered. Thursday, rain chances will wrap and temperatures will warm.
Rain totals over the next 3 days will fall between half an inch up to 2 inches. Localized higher totals are possible, especially for those east of I-95.
TRACKING THE TROPICS: We have an 80% chance to see our next named storm in the Atlantic. Models continue to keep this future system off the coast of the U.S.
