StormTracker8: Scattered Sunday showers; Cool & dry Monday

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Central Virginia is going to see a wet end to the weekend. Scattered showers are possible starting around noon today and chances continue into tonight.

Highs today will be in the mid 40s and cool down into the low 30s overnight. A cooler than average end to November.

Monday will remain dry during the day before our next rain chances pick up Monday night into Tuesday. The start of our week will remain cool in the mid 40s.

Widespread showers are possible on Tuesday covering most of the state of Virginia. Temperatures will continue to be well below average starting off our morning in the low 30s and slightly warming into the low 40s during the day.

It is possible for some folks in the Northwestern portion of the state to receive a wintery mix, but I am anticipating for predominantly wet precipitation. We will keep you updated over the next few days.

Wednesday will start off cold with temperatures in the upper 20s. Highs during the day will be in the mid 40s with partly cloudy skies.

Much more seasonable temperatures will be back for Thursday with temperatures in the low 50s before a cold front moves through bringing cooler temperatures for Friday.

Friday highs will be in the low 40s and there are isolated rain chances for late Friday night. Saturday will be another dreary day with scattered rain chances for during the day.
