StormTracker8: Sunny & cool Sunday; Warming to come this week

RICHMOND, Va (WRIC) -- We have a sunshine filled day to end our weekend. Highs will be in the mid 40s cooling down into the upper 20s overnight.

Cloud cover will begin to increase for the day on Monday bringing us partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be in the upper 40s.

Milder conditions begin on Tuesday this week. Temperatures will rise back into the 60s.

These warmer than average conditions will continue for the rest of the week as we head into the weekend. Thursday highs will be in the upper 50s and the 60s return for Friday and Saturday.

Our next best chances for rain will be both Friday and Saturday. This weather system is looking to bring isolated to scattered showers across much of Central Virginia.

Dry and cool conditions return next Sunday with highs back in the upper 40s.
