Suspect dies after officer-involved shooting in Chesterfield County

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A suspect is dead following an officer-involved shooting on Genito Road in Chesterfield County Thursday morning.

In the morning on Thursday, April 24, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department were on scene in the 13600 block of Genito Road investigating an officer-involved shooting.

Officials confirmed that a suspect is dead following the incident. No officers were injured, according to police.

Police have not released further information about the shooting.
