The Bacon Brothers coming to The Tin Pan in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Bacon Brothers are making their way to The Tin Pan in Richmond this summer.

The brothers, consisting of brothers Michael Bacon and Kevin Bacon, have spent about three decades creating their own mix of folk, rock, soul and country music, and will now take the stage of The Tin Pan from 8 to 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 2.

“We’re two musicians who write songs very differently, and we’ve grown to really appreciate those differences,” Michael said. “Whenever I go see a band play live, I’d much rather see them do a thousand things than just one thing. We take a similar approach to our albums.”

According to the venue, seats are assigned in order of when you purchase your tickets, with all reservations are subject to a food and drink minimum of $15 per guest. $1 of every ticket purchased to benefit SixDegrees.

The exploration continued with the band’s twelfth release, "Ballad Of The Brothers," which was released in 2024, where they made several trips to Tennessee. The album features "Live With The Lie," "Take Off This Tattoo" and "Put Your Hand Up."

The Tin Pan charges lower fees for box office versus online sales, which is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
