Three displaced after Chesterfield house fire
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Three people are without a home after a fire burned through a residence in Chesterfield County early Thursday morning. At around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, Chesterfield Fire and EMS crews responded to a call for a house fire in the 9600 block of Heather Ridge. According to officials, the first firefighters on the scene found a fire that appeared to have started outside the residence and spread to the home. The fire was marked under control within 20 minutes. There were no injuries, however, three people were displaced, according to authorities. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
