Three injured after gun loaded with buckshot accidentally fires in Chesterfield home
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Three people are injured after police said a gun loaded with buckshot accidentally fired in a Chesterfield home Monday evening.
According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, officers responded to a home in the 2800 block of Fairgate Road in the evening on Monday, June 23.
Police said it was reported that a man inadvertently fired a weapon loaded with buckshot, which hit him, another man and a boy in the room.
All three people were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials continue to investigate.
