Three suspects arrested after 42-year-old killed in Richmond shooting

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Three suspects have been arrested and charged in relation to a Richmond shooting that killed a 42-year-old man back in April.

According to the Richmond Police Department, the following individuals have been arrested in connection with the homicide of 42-year-old Antonio Roane of Richmond. All three of them were indicted on Oct. 6, officials said.

  • Twaneka Morman, 30, was charged with murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
  • Tiffany Wright, 34, was charged with maliciously shooting into an occupied vehicle.
  • Ramel Thompson, 27, was charged with maliciously shooting into an occupied vehicle and possession of a firearm by a violent felon.

These charges come after officers were called to the 2200 block of Fairfield Avenue at 7:28 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, for a report of a person down.

When officers arrived, they found Roane down on a sidewalk and unresponsive. He had an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
