CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WRIC) — The University of Virginia (UVA) community will hold a moment of honor Wednesday afternoon in remembrance of the three student athletes who were killed in an on-campus mass shooting on Nov. 13, 2022. The community will be asked to step outside at 1:55 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, for a moment of silence in honor of D'Sean Perry, Devin Chandler and Lavel Davis, Jr., followed by the playing of Amazing Grace and the tolling of the university's chapel bells. "Tomorrow is going to be tough for many -- and rightfully so," said UVA football's head coach Tony Elliott. "It's going to be tougher for the Davis family, the Chandler family and the Perry family."
