Trash collection delayed in Henrico due to winter weather

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Due to the inclement weather, trash collection and recycling in Henrico County has been delayed.
According to a Facebook post from Henrico County Public Works and Utilities, following the snowstorm on Feb. 19, trash pick-up for area residents has been pushed back.
The department is asking that Henrico residents leave their trash cans out until crews can complete collection.
If residents recycle through the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority, those services have also been suspended for the rest of the week.
