Two eastern Henrico roads to close overnight for maintenance
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Henrico County Department of Public Works will close two roads in the eastern part of the county overnight this week for waterline maintenance. According to the department, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14 and Tuesday, Oct. 15, the southbound lanes of South Laburnum Avenue and part of Thornhurst Street near Jacob L. Adams Elementary School will be closed. Traffic in the area will be detoured via Gay Avenue, Masonic Lane and Nine Mile Road.
