Two male victims injured after shooting in Richmond’s Northside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Two victims, including a 17-year-old boy, were injured after police said they were shot in Richmond's Northside Sunday evening.
At around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 3600 block of Montrose Avenue for a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found officers located one victim, and the other had already been self-transported to a local hospital.
Police said one man had life-threatening injuries, and a 17-year-old boy had non-life-threatening injuries.
This remains under investigation.
"The Richmond Police Department is reminding parents and teens that large gatherings hosted at short-term rental properties, including Airbnb locations, can pose serious safety risks," police said. "These events are often unsupervised and may lead to dangerous situations."
Police urges families to make safe choices avoid attending or hosting these types of parties.
