Two men injured in shooting incident at VSU basketball court in Chesterfield
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- There was a heavy police presence on the Virginia State University (VSU) campus late Thursday night due to a basketball court shooting incident.
At 9:34 p.m. on May 1, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department were called to the 3200 block of Boisseau Street for a reported shooting at the VSU basketball courts.

Upon their arrival, officers found one man who had been shot and another man with a laceration to the head.
Both victims were provided medical assistance at the scene before being taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
