Two people hurt in tractor-trailer crash on I-95 South in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Two people were hurt in a tractor-trailer crash along Interstate 95 South in Richmond on Thursday.

The crash took place at about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, on I-95 southbound near its interchange with I-64, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

A spokesperson for Virginia State Police told 8News that the crash, which involved two vehicles, left two people injured. The extent of their injuries is not known as of the time of reporting.

Multiple southbound lanes were closed at one point, with traffic backed up for some time. All lanes have since reopened.
