Two people injured, multiple lanes closed on Chippenham Parkway due to crash

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries on Chippenham Parkway that resulted in all northbound lanes being temporarily closed Friday morning.

Around 9 a.m. on April 25, state troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on northbound Chippenham Parkway near Hopkins Road in Chesterfield County.

According to police, two people were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Drivers were warned to expect delays on their commute on Chippenham Parkway due to the crash. According to VDOT, the lanes were reopened and the scene was cleared shortly before 10:30 a.m.

Virginia State Police are still on the scene investigating this crash.
