USA Today features Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden for best holiday display
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- For two years in a row, the Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden has won USA Today's Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights Display. According to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, for the second year now, the Dominion Energy Garden Fest of Lights has been coined as the Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights Display in USA Today's 10Best list. (Photo: Tom Hennessy) The nominations for selections were hand-picked by a panel of content experts and USA Today 10Best editors -- before the public put in their vote. “I am so proud of our Garden’s staff and volunteers who poured their heart, passion andartistry into creating a display that continues to delight visitors year after year,” saidLewis Ginter Botanical Garden’s President & CEO, Brian Trader. “This recognition is atestament to their hard work and creativity, and I hope everyone will come out toexperience the magic they’ve created at the Garden.” The theme for this year was Homes & Habitats: A Celebration of Connection, which featured millions of lights throughout the Garden -- inviting guests to celebrate the joy of interconnected environments like rainforests, deserts, wetlands and grasslands. Garden Fest kicked off on Nov. 18 and will continue until Jan. 5, 2025. Tickets are still available online.
