VCU Police to hold training exercise at youth center

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Police announced it will be running a training exercise on Wednesday.

VCU Police announced in a social media post that they will conduct a training exercise on Wednesday, March 11, from 8 a.m. to noon in the 100 block of S. Linden Street.

Police are warning community members that they may see an increase in law enforcement officers at the Mary and Frances Youth Center during the time of the training.

VCU Police stated they will still be fully staffed during the training exercise and can be reached at (804) 828-1234 for an emergency or (804) 828-1196 for a non-emergency.
