VIDEO: Chesterfield firefighters save people during Hurricane Helene

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Chesterfield County Fire and EMS are giving people the chance to see crews in action after releasing footage of their rescue efforts during Hurricane Helene.

The video, seen below, showcases Chesterfield firefighters from a point-of-view perspective that are part of the Virginia Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team (VAHART) -- demonstrating not just their actions, but what the rescue looked like in real-time.

This specific rescue involved helping those trapped during flooding in Southwest Virginia as a result of Hurricane Helene hitting the state in fall of last year.
