After social media buzz grew, Virginia ABC then shared a few cocktail recipes on social media with some more digital artworks with the raccoon.
Animal control officials initially found the raccoon lying facedown in the bathroom of an Ashland ABC store on Saturday, Nov. 30, after ransacking the store.
The raccoon had left behind a trail of broken bottles and wrecked shelves before passing out in the bathroom, where officials later found him. After sobering him up, the raccoon was found to have no injuries and was released back into the wild.
His nationwide popularity led to the Hanover County Animal Protection & Shelter to release t-shirts and hoodies featuring an image of the raccoon passed out drunk with the caption, "Trashed Panada."
Proceeds from the sales will go towards equipment to assist in wildlife calls, field officer training and shelter animal care.
