Virginia State Police in top 10 of ongoing best-looking cruiser contest, one week to go
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police currently sits in the top 10 of a nationwide best-looking cruiser contest. With one week to go, the agency hopes its sleek Mustang cruiser will be able to keep that lead.
Voting for the American Association of State Troopers’ (AAST) 12th-annual “Best-Looking Cruiser Contest” began on Monday, June 30. The 13 police cruisers with the most votes will be featured in the AAST’s “America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers 2026 Wall Calendar."
The winning cruiser will get the honor of being on the cover, while its respective agency will receive the “Best-Looking Cruiser” award.
As of Thursday, July 3, Virginia State Police's Mustang cruiser -- pictured below -- is in 9th place with over 4,000 votes.

"We are now in 9th place and we owe it all to your votes," Virginia State Police said on Thursday. "Let’s keep climbing, Virginia! Help us race to the top in the Best-Looking Cruiser contest."

Voting is set to close at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 11. AAST will continue to post rankings updates on its Facebook until then.
