After taking the time to pack up leftovers from Thanksgiving Day meal, most want to know how long their leftovers will last. According Food Network, here is a list of safe recommendations for the shelf life to some of your favorite Thanksgiving dishes: (Getty Images) One Day After Thanksgiving Baked breads like dinner rolls will dry out fast and are recommended to freeze if they are not eaten. After properly storing the dinner rolls in a plastic bag with no air, they can be frozen for approximately one month. Leftovers like turkey, casseroles or cooked grains are recommended to freeze if not consumed. If frozen, these foods can last for up to three months. These items can also be stored in a freezer bag for up to one month. Mashed potatoes and stuffing should be consumed within three to four days. If frozen, these items can be stored for up to 2 months. Gravy should be used or frozen within three to four -- can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months. Traditional pies should be consumed within four to five day, it is encouraged to freeze any portions that are not eaten already. One Week After Thanksgiving Turkey is recommended to be eaten or stored in the freezer at this point. Two Weeks or More After Thanksgiving Cranberry sauce should be consumed or frozen within two weeks. Approximately one month after Thanksgiving, it is recommended to use any frozen leftovers within this timeframe.
