Water main project causes temporary road closure in Petersburg

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A portion of Old Church Street in Petersburg will be closed until Friday for a water main installation.
Starting Wednesday, May 14, through Friday, May 16, Old Church Street between Taylor Street and East Washington Street will be closed.
According to the City of Petersburg, the closure is due to water main installation, which is part of the Poor Creek project.
