Week of nightly detours in Henrico as bridge over I-95 South repaired

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County drivers will see a week of nighttime detours starting Sunday as the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) works to repair a bridge over Interstate 95 South.

Alternating double lane and ramp closures will be in place nightly on the E. Parham Road bridge from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. starting Sunday, March 16 and ending Friday, March 21.

This will allow for VDOT crews to make repairs on the bridge, which goes over I-95 southbound.

There will be a detour in place. Drivers going south should take E. Parham Road west to northbound Brook Road, then take the I-295 South/I-95 ramp to the I-95 southbound ramp 43B.

If you have any questions about this project, you can contact VDOT at 800-367-7623.
