West Broad Street in Henrico reopens after crash comprises utility pole

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A section of West Broad Street in Henrico County reopened on Sunday morning after a utility pole was compromised and lines were down across all lanes following a crash.

The Henrico County Police Division said that the crash occurred shortly before 7 p.m. when a vehicle crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of West Broad Street and Hollybrook Avenue in Henrico County.

West Broad Street was closed to all traffic between Parham Road to Skipwith Road as crews work to repair the damage.

As of 10:37 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, the Henrico County Police Division announced that the work being done on West Broad Street near Parham Road has now moved off the roadway

The road has since reopened in both directions, according to police.

This incident still remains under investigation.
