Woman dead after police said she was shot in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman is dead after police said she was shot in Richmond Saturday morning.
At 9:52 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 700 block of South Harrison Street for a report of an armed party.
When officers arrived, they found a woman with gunshot wounds. Police said she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Major Crime Detectives are currently investigating.
No other information is available as of the time of reporting.
