RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman is dead after she was hit by a pick-up truck at a Richmond country club. Just after 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the County Club of Virginia's Westhampton Campus -- located in the 6000 block of St. Andrews Lane -- for a reported crash in its parking lot. When they arrived, they found a woman unconscious on the ground. According to police, she had been hit by a pick-up truck while she was crossing the parking lot. She was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.
