Woman shot, killed on Roanoke Street in Richmond’s Southside

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman was found shot dead on West Roanoke Street in Richmond's Southside early Tuesday morning.
At 12:48 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 200 block of Roanoke Street for the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found a woman with an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead.
