Zoom Room Richmond’s Halloween Party: Costumes, contests and canine fun!

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Zoom Room Richmond, a dog training school and exercise space, is inviting dog owners everywhere to attend its third annual Halloween Party & Costume Contest.
The event will be at Zoom Room's Richmond location -- 3450 Lauderdale Dr. -- from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25.
There will be a costume contest with a $100 Zoom Room gift card as a prize -- and goodie bags for all participants. Entry for the contest is $10 per dog or $5 for spectators.
In addition to adorable costumes and dog treats for all, the event will include:
- Tricks for Treats -- Show off your dog's best moves!
- Bobbing for Hot Dogs -- Always a hilarious crowd favorite
- Professional Pet Photos -- Capture your costumes and memories with Beloved Pet Photography (available by donation)
All proceeds from the event will go towards FETCH a Cure's Pixie's Pen Pals, a program that pairs rescue dogs with inmates for training and rehabilitation.
“This event is one of the most adorable events we host each year,” says Shemeck Piatek, Owner and Trainer at Zoom Room Richmond. “It’s a chance for the community to come together, have fun with their dogs, and support an incredible program benefiting both the handler and the pups they train.”
