15-year-old boy in critical condition after Richmond shooting

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A 15-year-old boy is suffering from life-threatening injuries after being shot in Richmond on Sunday night.

On Sunday, March 22 at 6:08 p.m., Richmond officers responded to the 1000 block of Decatur Street for a report of a shooting.

Once on the scene, officers located a 15-year-old boy suffering from life-threatening injuries due to a gunshot wound to his torso. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
