Stormwater repairs scheduled for community in Hopewell

HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- The city of Hopewell announced it will begin construction to improve stormwater systems in the Anchor Point Community on Monday.

The city of Hopewell announced in a press release that starting Monday, April 13 at 8 a.m., it will begin construction to improve the stormwater system in the Anchor Point Community and is expected to continue for about two weeks.

AM-Liner and Tim Newcomb Construction will be leading the project.

Drivers should stay alert while traveling through the work zone and follow the posted traffic directions for everyone's safety.

"We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we make these upgrades to strengthen and enhance the City’s stormwater infrastructure," the release stated.
