2025 BLK RVA Community awards nominations are now open

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Is there a local hero you think deserves recognition for their positive impact? Well, nominations are now open for the upcoming 2025 BLK RVA Community Awards.

Nominations are now open for the 2025 BLK RVA Community Awards, celebrating individuals and organizations making a positive impact across the Richmond area.

The awards will highlight individuals and organizations through their work in history, food, community, arts and entertainment.

Nominees will be recognized across five categories, including the Cultural Preservation Award, Culinary Heritage Award, Rooted Community Impact Award, Rising Community Impact Award and Cultural Enrichment Award.
