21-year-old man identified as cyclist hit, killed by vehicle in Chesterfield County

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The man who died after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in Chesterfield County on New Year's Eve has been identified by police. The cyclist was identified by police as 21-year-old Marvin O. Molina Gonzalez. Police said he had no permanent address. According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, officers responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a bicycle in the 16500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 6:42 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31. When officers arrived, they found Gonzalez, who had been thrown from his bicycle. The driver of the vehicle that hit him remained on scene and is cooperating with police, according to officials.
