RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — "OMG, what does that mean?" -- If text abbreviations have you confused, you're not alone. ICYMI, we've rounded up a list of what Virginians are searching for most this year!

A report by Unscramblerer.com, an online word-finding tool, recently revealed the most-searched text abbreviations in the commonwealth and across the country. The research used Google Trends to find the top trending texting acronyms and marketing platform Ahrefs for the number of monthly searches this year, per a release.

Researchers noted that the top trending acronyms are the least understood. Analysis findings covered roughly the first three months of 2026, between Jan. 1 and March 24.
