21-year-old motorcyclist dead after hitting car on I-64 in Henrico
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 21-year-old Henrico County motorcyclist is dead after state police say he hit a car from behind while trying to pass it on Interstate 64 last Friday. At 10:09 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, Virginia State Police responded to I-64 near Staples Mill Road for report of a two-vehicle crash. PREVIOUS: Virginia State Police investigating deadly motorcycle crash on I-64 in Henrico According to police, 21-year-old Jerrico Lucas Huerena of Henrico was driving a 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 400 when he tried to pass a 2018 BMW M4 in the left lane. According to police, he was wearing a helmet. The driver of the BMW, a 30-year-old Henrico man, was not hurt. The crash remains under investigation.
