POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Powhatan County Sheriff's Office made an arrest in connection to a sexual assault incident that took place last Wednesday at a golf club.
On Wednesday, July 9, a sexual assault incident occurred at Independence Golf Club in Powhatan County.
22-year-old Cameron Lee Jenrette of Chesterfield County, was arrested by Powhatan detectives on Monday, July 14, with the help of Chesterfield police.
According to a press release from authorities, Jenrette was charged with sexual battery and is currently being held without a bond.
