34-year-old man charged after allegedly stabbing man in Petersburg
PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged on Wednesday after police say he allegedly stabbed a man earlier that day.
On Wednesday, Aug. 20, officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police were called to the 1600 block of Monticello Street for a report of a stabbing.
When police arrived, they found a 42-year-old man with non-life-threatening stab wounds. He was then taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect, who has been identified as 34-year-old Tony Bae, was arrested near the scene and has been charged with aggravated assault.
Bae is in custody, pending his next court appearance on Oct. 6, at Petersburg General District Court.
