34-year-old Richmond man charged in connection to deadly shooting in October

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 34-year-old Richmond man has been charged with second-degree murder following a deadly shooting in Henrico County in October.
On Wednesday, Feb. 26, 34-year-old Rudy Devon Fuller of Richmond was reportedly taken into custody by the Henrico County Police Division.
Police said he faces the following charges in connection to a shooting that killed 44-year-old Darnell Lee Porter of Henrico County and left another man with a life-threatening gunshot wound on Oct. 4 in the 3600 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike:
- Second-degree murder
- Malicious wounding
- Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
- Possession of a firearm as a convicted felon
Since the shooting occurred, officials said the injured victim has been released from the hospital.
