36-year-old woman missing out of Chesterfield may need medical services

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Chesterfield County Police Department is searching for a woman who was last seen leaving her home last week.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 36-year-old Mercedes Beuford was last seen leaving her home in the 3000 block of Rycliff Avenue.
According to police, Beauford’s family members received a message from her on Sunday, Feb. 9, which indicated she was around Commerce Road in Richmond. However, they haven’t heard from her since.
Authorities said she may need medical services.
Beauford is described as a Black female who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She has black hair, possibly worn in long braids, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink coat and carrying a red, duffle-bag-type purse.
