37-year-old reported missing out of Ashland in Hanover County

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 37-year-old man has been reported missing out of the town of Ashland in Hanover County, with police saying there are concerns for his well-being.

The Ashland Police Department announced in the afternoon on Saturday, Sept. 20, that it was seeking the public's help in finding 37-year-old Ronnie Roberts.

According to police, Roberts was reported missing at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

He was reportedly last seen in the town of Ashland in Hanover County at around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and left the area on foot.

Roberts is described by police as being a white man who stands at about 6 feet and two inches tall. He has brown eyes and wears glasses, police said, and has black hair as well as multiple tattoos on the inside of both arms, his right shoulder and his chest.

Police provided the following images of Roberts and his shoes in an attempt to assist the public in finding him.

He was reportedly last seen wearing a black or grey shirt, a black hat, black and grey Sperry shoes and a black backpack.

At this point in the investigation, police said no foul play is expected, but due to "concerning statements" Roberts made, the Ashland Police Department said it is concerned for his well-being.
