5 people displaced after Chesterfield house fire on Woodpecker Road
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Five people are displaced after a house fire in Chesterfield County Saturday evening. At around 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, Chesterfield Fire and EMS crews responded to a call for a house fire in the 20100 block of Woodpecker Road. According to officials, the first firefighters that arrived on scene found fire coming from the front living room of the home. Chesterfield Fire and EMS said crews were able to get the fire under control before it could spread to most of the home. 7 displaced after kitchen fire in Chesterfield There were no reported injuries, however, officials said five people were displaced due to the house fire and they are being assisted by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
