In this week's episode of Great 8 Events, Delaney featured the 54th Richmond Oktoberfest hosted by Deutscher Sportsclub and Gesangverein Virginia -- two authentic German clubs. The festival takes place on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19 at Meadow Event Park in Doswell. Delaney interviewed Hans Stienen, who is the emcee for this year's event and one of the organizers. Stienen shared some insight into the history of the festival, which originally started in 1969.
