54th annual Arts in the Park returns to Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A special guest visited 8News on Tuesday, to talk about the 54th annual Arts in the Park, which will return to Richmond this weekend.
8News' Delaney Hall and Jacqueline Waters were joined by Paige Quilter, a spokesperson with Arts in the Park, to let would-be attendees know what they can expect.

"This year's event will not disappoint anyone," Quilter said. "We pride ourselves on having all original works of art and crafts... and it gives Richmond a great opportunity to experience every single form of art there is."
Arts in the Park is free to attend, and will take place on Saturday, May 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Carillon in Byrd Park. Additionally, there will be shuttles taking people to the event from City Stadium, which will offer free parking.

Additionally, Quilter brought samples of the arts and crafts that people will be able to see at the show, including various products within textile arts and pottery. Other categories of art pieces that will be exhibited include jewelry, furniture, photography, woodworking and more.
