8News does an eggnog taste test with Richlands Dairy Farms

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from two special guests with Richlands Dairy Farm on Tuesday to talk about their seasonal offerings as well as some other products they carry all year long.

8News anchor Autumn Childress and StormTracker8 meteorologist Jessica Kirk were joined by Thomas and Brittany Jones, the owners and operators of Richlands Dairy Farm, to talk about what makes their products special.

"We're one of the few farms that we actually have the cows on the farm and then carry the product all the way to market," Thomas said. "That's not very common, and so when you drink our milk, it is from our herd, and so it's not mixed with any other herds."

They also brought several products for a live taste test, including their seasonal eggnog, chocolate milk, half and half and heavy cream.
