8News talks with Richmond Symphony about April schedule
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from a special guest with the Richmond Symphony on Thursday to talk about several events they will be holding throughout April.
8News anchors Autumn Childress and Madison Moore were joined by Matt Wilshire, vice president of artistic planning and orchestra operations, to talk about what people can expect.
"We've got a really really great concert this weekend, we have Angela Cheng joining us on Beethoven's fourth piano concerto... we also have Jesse Montgomery's 'Hymn for Everyone,'" Wilshire said. "All of this is connections about the American sound and looking towards this 250th celebration of the United States."
