8News talks with VSU’s Women’s LeadHERship Institute about upcoming conference

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from a special guest on Tuesday to talk about an upcoming conference from Virginia State University's (VSU) Women's LeadHERship Institute (WLI).

8News anchors Autumn Childress and Madison Moore were joined by Gabrielle Pina with WLI to discuss this year's theme for the A Day in LeadHERship Conference: HER Blueprint: Designing the Future with Intention & Impact.

"This theme centers intentionality," Pina said. "How we make decisions, how we align leadership with our core values and how we build careers and lives that are both impactful and sustainable."
