All lanes were closed on I-64 East in Henrico due to multi-vehicle crash
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- All lanes were closed on a section of Interstate 64 East in Henrico County on Saturday morning due to a multi-vehicle crash.
Just before 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) reported that all lanes were closed on I-64 East at mile marker 185, which is just past the Dickens Road exit and before Staples Mill Road in Henrico County due to a multi-vehicle crash.
According to Virginia State Police, troopers were dispatched at 10:35 a.m. to a three-vehicle crash involving a dump truck.
"There are no serious injuries reported at this time," a police spokesperson said.
Drivers wre advised to seek alternative routes to avoid delays, and Virginia State Police troopers are working with VDOT to divert traffic during the cleanup of the scene.
