All lanes were closed on I-95 South in Richmond due to multi-vehicle crash
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- All southbound lanes were closed on a section of Interstate 95 in Richmond due to a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday morning. At around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) reported that all southbound lanes -- as well as the northbound left shoulder and left lane -- were closed on I-95 near Bells Road due to a multi-vehicle crash. According to Virginia State Police, the crash involved three vehicles including a taxi minivan, a tow truck and a F-150 pulling a trailer. "At this time no people have been transported to the hospital," a spokesperson for Virginia State Police said. At around noon, VDOT reported that all lanes were reopened and the scene was clear.
