Richmond, Va (WRIC) -- After some beneficial rainfall on our Easter Sunday, which washed away the Extreme Levels of Tree Pollen we battled through last week, and helping a little bit towards the drought situation, we will see tranquil weather conditions for a while. Details below.

Tonight’s forecast calls for decreasing clouds, turning much cooler, as temperatures dip down to 40 to 45 degrees by Monday morning.

Tomorrow’s forecast for Monday calls for mostly sunny skies, light westerly winds, and seasonable temperatures, rising to 65 to 70 degrees.

Tuesday will be a cooler day, under mostly sunny skies, and highs around 60 degrees. Tuesday evening for the Richmond Flying Squirrels Home Opener, it will be falling back through the 50s, so a sweatshirt or a jacket is a great idea to have on you, for the thousands of fans going to the game that evening.

Tuesday night before you go to bed, it’s recommended to protect your plants, due to the possible frost on the way Wednesday morning.

Wednesday morning will be chilly, with temperatures starting off between 30 to 35 degrees, and then Wednesday afternoon will be cool, with temperatures rising into the upper 50s to around 60 degrees, under partly sunny skies.

Thursday morning will be chilly, with temperatures starting off between 35 to 40 degrees, and then Thursday afternoon will be seasonable, with temperatures rising to 65 to 70 degrees, under partly sunny skies. Thursday starts another warming trend.

Friday will be a fantastic day, under partly sunny skies, and highs around 75 degrees.

Next Saturday, Sunday, and the following Monday will all be partly sunny, with our ongoing warming trend heading into next week, back into the 80s!
